Hip and Pelvis Pain

Causes

  • Prolonged sitting such as desk work
  • Bursitis
  • Pregnancy
  • Arthritis
  • Labrum tears
  • Joint dysfunction, dysplasia or stiffness
  • Muscular strains or tightness
  • Trauma or injuries

Treatment

Osteopathic treatment can help with hip and pelvic pain by identifying causative and contributing factors. Treatment will aim to improve joint mobility, strength and function as well as to reduce pain, occurrence and muscular strains. To help you achieve this we don't just treat the "sore spot" but relative areas that may be contributing to your pain such as low back, groin and lower limbs.

Treatment may include:

  • Massage
  • Stretches
  • Mobilisation
  • Manipulation
  • Dry needling
  • Cupping
  • Taping
  • Postural correction
  • Ergonomic advise
  • Rehabilitation exercises
