Elbow and Wrist Pain

Causes

Elbow and wrist pain is a common complaint we see at Wellness Osteopathy. Mainly this pain is due to repetitive use of the elbow and wrist, such as desk work (mouse and keyboard use), use of tools (hammers, pliers), overhead activity and certain sports.

Common Conditions

  • Tennis elbow
  • Golfer's elbow
  • Arthritis
  • Referred pain from the neck
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • DeQuervain's tenidinosis
  • Muscle strains
  • Joint stiffness

Treatment

Our practitioners will examine and treat the painful area as well as surrounding structures such as shoulder and wrist. Treatment may include: massage, stretches, mobilisation, manipulation, dry needling, cupping or taping.
